Identify the Mushroom

Use both the images and field notes to narrow the fungi down to genus and species

Field note

Massed in overlapping rosettes on a fallen red alder log in damp mixed woodland, with a leaf-litter understory and no soil contact. Each thin, leathery bracket is banded in concentric zones of brown, tan, grey and blue-buff with a finely velvety upper surface; the underside is whitish with tiny round pores rather than gills. It is tough and almost odourless.
